The 2025 Limited Edition Frederick ornaments were made in collaboration with Ellen Byrne Illustration. Ellen is an illustrator in Frederick, Maryland. The custom decals were produced by Elan Transfers, also in Frederick, Maryland.
The ornament is about 3.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide and is hung on a faux suede cord.
Ornaments are made in my Frederick County Studio with a speckled brown stoneware. Each ornament is fired in the kiln three times to end up with white glaze and a colorful illustration of the iconic 5 spires of the Frederick skyline, red covered bridge, stone arch bridge over Carroll Creek and an ice skater.
Ornaments can be shipped or picked up locally at Creative Spaces Boutique in Urbana.
Since each ornament is handmade, they may differ from what is pictured in the product listing. Glaze can look different from screen to screen and even different light you are holding the piece in.
